Within the NDP are 18 Policies that will provide a future Parish planning framework once formally adopted

Each policy is structured as follows:

1. Policy justification (why the policy is needed)
2. Policy intention (what the policy seeks to achieve)
3. Policy wording (including supporting maps as appropriate 

Once adopted, the policies contained within the NDP will have to be taken into consideration when Planning Officers determine future Planning Applications.
